Planned Giving Myth: Planned Giving Is Only for Wealthy Donors

Planned Giving isn’t only for folks who are wealthy.

In fact, some of your smallest and most modest donors can be very generous in their wills.

There isn’t a lifetime cost, so people who have accumulated wealth but who cannot give it to you while they are living can give it to you when they create their estates.

The average charitable bequest in the U.S. is $35,000. That means many planned gifts come from donors who aren’t leaving millions in their wills.
